Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy
Psychoanalytic psychotherapy is a therapeutic technique that provides the patient with a space for reflection , helping them to think about the problems they face, which can be both everyday issues that are difficult to resolve, as well as more subjective complaints related to possible discomfort, depression, anxiety, anguish, a feeling of emptiness, among others.
The main objectives are to obtain a greater understanding of your inner world, personal emotional and cognitive enrichment, and greater clarity about your ways of acting and feeling. We thus seek to promote more positive ways of relating to yourself and others.
The person is seen and understood as a whole, so the focus is not just on their symptoms or their current life circumstances. With the therapist, the patient can - and should - be completely honest without fear of censure, punishment or a break in the relationship. It is not a treatment that aims only to reduce symptoms, but to resolve the cause of the problem, producing lasting and profound results.
